German Toilet Organization Patrons

The work and projects of the GTO are supported by a variety of patrons. We would like to express our gratitude to all our patrons, without whom, our continuing work would not be possible.


The German federal ministry of economic co-operation and development is responsible for the German development policy. We thank the BMZ for supporting our school project "Klobalisierte Welt".

 

UN Water is a collaboration of 24 UN financial instruments and programmes.  Support from UN Water enabled the GTO to carry out the worldwide "Sanitation is Dignity" campaign as part of the 2008 International Year of Sanitation.

 

The Foundation for environment and development Nordrhein-Westfalen supports projects and organizations that work for the North-South dialog, the protection of the enviroment and intercultural learning.We thank the foundation for supporting our SANWAT network initiative.


The "Landesstelle für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit Berlin" or LEZ (The State Office for Development Cooperation), is the Berlin Senate's central information and coordination point for international development issues. The LEZ is a supporter of our German international development educational programme and our advanced education project for Berlin based NGOs.

 

Inwent - Capacity Building International, Germany, is a not-for-profit organisation with worldwide operations dedicated to human resource development, advanced training, and dialogue.  Inwent works closely with the BMZ, particulalrly in the field of development cooperation. In 2009 the "Klobalisierte Welt" school project has been carried out with the support of Inwent.

 

The GLS Treuhand e.V. is a cooperative organisation of over 288 members, each concerned with social ecological and cultural issues. The GTS foundation provided critical support to the GTO as we sought to upscale our activities.
