In Berlin, the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit (BMZ) provided their rooms and materials for the seminar on 27 - 28 November. Staff from various NGOs working in international development gained an insight into the potentials as well as the problematics in developing sustainable sanitation solutions. Together with a group of experts, they worked through possible strategies for project implementation.
On 23 - 24 October, the debut for the seminar series 'Toiltes for schools & public facilities - How do I do everything right?' was held in Eschborn. Hosted at the premises of our partners in the GTZ section 'ecosan', participants were immersed in the specific topic of sustainable sanitation in developing countries. Group work and open discussion rounds facilitated knowledge exchange, networking and the discussion of specific project examples.
