Launch der SANIHUB-Plattform

Date

During this year's Global WASH Cluster meeting in Budapest, a beta version of the Humanitarian Sanitation Hub, or SANIHUB for short, was launched.
The SANIHUB is a comprehensive knowledge and exchange platform that brings together all available global knowledge on sanitation and faecal sludge management (FSM) in emergencies. The platform serves as a first point of contact, reference and constant companion for all those involved in planning and implementing sanitation and FSM interventions in emergencies. It also provides face-to-face remote support for humanitarian WASH practitioners and local/national clusters through a helpdesk supported by the Feacal Sludge Management Technical Working Group of the Global WASH Cluster.

The SANIHUB will be continuously fed with content and functionally improved in the following months. Representatives of (sub-)national clusters, organisations and individuals are invited to support the further development of the platform. Be it to collect relevant practical resources and formalise partnerships, to make internal knowledge and resources accessible to the wider sector or to participate in a first user test.

The SANIHUB team can be reached at info@sanihub.org.
