Every school should have clean, safe, and hygienic toilets.

Do you want to improve your school toilets? Then you're in the right place!

The "Toiletten machen Schule®" competition is entering the next round, and there are cash and non-cash prizes worth more than 50,000 EUR to be won!

On January 10, 2024, the competition portal will be officially launched at www.toiletten-machen-schule.de. Schools of all types in Germany are invited to participate. Will your school join in?

As part of the competition, you will develop ideas and implement concepts to sustainably improve your school toilets. We will guide you through various steps, from inventory to idea generation. Participation will definitely be worthwhile for all schools, and the best entries will be awarded!

The deadline for submissions will be April 23, 2024.

Get a head start!

If you want to make optimal use of the competition period, you can start preparing now: Form a team and find committed team members so you can hit the ground running in January. Your team should definitely be mixed so that students and adults work together.

And here's a tip in advance:

For participation in the competition, your team must consist of at least four different groups of people. These include students, teachers, school social workers, educators, school administrators, janitors, and cleaning staff. The more supporters your concept has, the more likely it is to be successfully implemented in your school.
